There are a variety of agencies that provide personal and relationships counselling.

 

Some community agencies are government subsidised and are either free or ask for a donation, but may not provide long-term therapy.

 

RELATIONSHIPS AUSTRALIA is recommended for relationship counselling. They are partly government subsidised but do charge a donation that varies with the individuals means. They are well recognised in the welfare sector for the training and professional supervision and support of their counsellors that leads to a good standard of service.

 

There are many private practice counsellors and psychologists offering personal and relationship counselling, however these services charge a session fee, which can vary considerably. Private counsellors and psychologists are listed elsewhere in the directory.
